Hotly-tipped UK rock song-smith, DAN BYRNE releases new track, ‘LIKE ANIMALS’ and announces headline shows!
Having been identified by Classic Rock Magazine as ‘one to watch in 2024’, DAN BYRNE releases his blistering latest single, ‘Like Animals’.
Taken from his highly-praised debut E.P, ‘Beginnings’, ‘Like Animals’ is a pulsing, precision-drilled piece of contemporary hard rock – big guitars and driving synth underpinning Dan’s soaring, soul-inflected voice.
Produced by David Radahd-Jones, ‘Like Animals’ - along with the rest of the material on ‘Beginnings’ E.P - was entirely self-penned and largely recorded by Dan himself, showcasing what a truly exceptional all-rounder the Liverpool-based singer/songwriter is.
To support the release, Dan will be hitting the road in March with a killer band featuring Myke Gray on guitar, Glenn Quinn, former Inglorious bass player, Colin Parkinson and drummer, Max Rhead, last seen with Kira Mac.

Following on from these appearances, Dan will tour the UK with Oli Brown & The Dead Collective throughout April before summer shows which include a headlining set at S.O.S Festival, Steelhouse Festival alongside the likes of The Almighty, Mr. Big, Skindred and Living Colour and Chepstow Castle with Kris Barras.
Having already earned plaudits from the likes of Classic Rock Magazine naming him ‘one to watch in 2024’ and Planet Rock who penned, ‘Expect his music to walk to the beat of legends past but with its own distinctly modern swagger’, the future is certainly looking bright for the Liverpool-based vocalist, writer and Jiu Jitsu black-belt. Laser-focused and raring to go, don’t bet against him.
