The Fear

About

New Satellite track comes fresh off the back of the band’s debut single ‘White Noise’, featuring Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, as well as a sold-out UK tour supporting Alien Ant Farm at the end of 2024.

Co-produced by The Fear drummer Benj Ashmead and David Radahd-Jones (Boston Manor/Wargasm) with additional production by Randy Slaugh (Architects/Skillet), the single demonstrates a pedigree beyond the handful of singles the band have teased so far.

Satellite is another emphatic statement from the Manchester band formed by long-time friends and musical collaborators Micky Satiar (vocals) and Benj Ashmead (drums). Ashmead says “‘Satellite’ was one of the first songs we wrote as a band, and it really set the tone for how naturally things can come together when the chemistry is right.”

Satellite is an earworm of decimating riffs and soaring vocals, the subject matters of which is close to all of the bands’ hearts. Micky Satiar says “Satellite is a song that hopefully everyone can relate to about coping with loss, remembering our loved ones and reflecting on how we should best live our lives in spite of that pain.”

The poignant video for ’Satellite’ was directed by the band’s creative collaborator Samuele Dean, and features several of their fans remembering the people who made a difference in their lives. Watch it HERE
